Step 1. We Talk

Consultation

We get on a free 30-minute call — no agenda, just listening. You tell us about the person you're thinking about right now. Their name. Their stories. What you're afraid of losing.

We figure out together whether an EraLoom Legacy Session is the right fit. If it isn't, we'll tell you honestly. If it is, we schedule and get to work.

Step 2. We Prepare

Pre-production

This is where most of our work happens -before any camera is ever turned on. We learn your family's history. We build a custom question set designed specifically for your parent: the questions only their family can answer, that unlock the stories they haven't thought to tell in years.

We handle all logistics - scheduling, location, any prep your parent needs. They don't memorize anything. They don't need to prepare a speech. They just show up as themselves.

Step 3. We Record

Production

We come to your parent's home with a simple camera and lighting set up and 2-person crew. Each session runs about 90 minutes plus breaks as needed. We guide the conversation. Your parent tells their stories the way they've always told them - at their own pace, in their own words. We'll talk through what's right for your family and capture what the time and space allows.

Step 4. We Edit

Post-production

After the recording session, we head back to the editing bay to craft your video segments. This involves editing, color correction, digital photo touch-ups, and sound design as needed. We are preparing the "rough cuts" for your review and approval.

Step 5. We Review

We meet to review the edited versions of your video segments, make any revisions needed, prepare your final cuts, and schedule your "premiere."

Step 6. We Deliver

(Optional) Private Premiere

Your video segments are delivered securely to you via download directly to your computer and devices. We can also arrange to debut select video segments with friends and family at your own "by-invitation-only" virtual premiere! We will store these assets locally for 90 days with the option for long-term online storage.
